VMware installation error

Hello

during the preparation for the VMware installation, the following error message appears: "The installer cannot continue. The Microsoft Runtime DLL installer could not complete the installation.

What should I do? :/

Before that, I tried to install VirtualBox but I had a problem with it, the issue is posted here:

    Problem solved.
    I feel like it was related to Windows.
    I reinstalled Windows on my computer (an upgrade with file retention) and this allowed me to finally install VMware.
