Hello,

I accidentally dropped some thermal paste on my motherboard while changing the one on my processor. My PC doesn’t seem to have any issues, but can this cause problems?
(I specify that the thermal paste is Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.)

Thank you.

    Hi,

It depended on where it fell.

If it's not in the socket or the RAM slots (where the contacts are)

It fell right next to metal dotted lines, I can't take a photo of it, the quantity is just a drop, I tried to clean it with a tissue but there's still a little left.

        Dotted lines?

If it's not a place where there are contacts, it's not a big deal, unless it leaks onto contacts over time.

You can clean it with a cotton ball and 70% or higher alcohol.
