Hello
An indium joint is already done under the IHS, we know it’s more effective than thermal paste. Not funny, let’s look for something else.
What about oil?
Starting with polishing product and elbow grease.
It’s the small irregularities of the surface that trap insulating air. The flatter and scratch-free the surfaces are, the less air there is, and the larger the actual metal-to-metal contact surface is. More heat is transferred to the radiator.
Overclockers have been doing this for a long time and have even conducted tests without paste.
All replacement products serve to replace the air that remains like thermal paste.
So let’s use mineral oil which doesn’t conduct electricity, for example. To prevent it from leaking, we immerse the card in an aquarium filled with mineral oil, which has also been done to cool a PC, and videos are available online.
I therefore propose mineral oil to replace thermal paste after proper preparation through polishing and cooling with mineral oil.
Remember to conduct tests before removing the paste to compare with supporting data.
Who wants to test it?

Is this a joke?
