Hello,
I am encountering a problem because with the same Word document, the display is completely different when I open it on another PC, while everything is fine on mine.
I really don’t know how to solve this issue knowing that the font sizes are the same, the document is docx, and the versions are up to date...
If you have the solution...
Configuration: Windows / Edge 88.0.705.68

Hello.
Question 1: Are the versions of Word identical on both machines?
Question 2: What is the purpose of transferring the file? For editing or printing?
In the case of simple printing, converting to PDF on the first machine will allow printing without altering the display on the second.
In the case of editing, it sometimes happens that opening a file with an older version than the one used to create the document, or vice versa, yields different display results. It's best to work with identical versions if possible or closely related versions.
Thank you, Microsoft...

Hello,
Indeed, the first thing to check: the versions.
That said, that wouldn't justify so many differences. It is normal to have some differences from one version to another, especially if features that didn't exist before were used.
Finally, going from 365 to 2003, it’s quite normal to find differences.
If the versions are the same or almost the same, I would mainly look at the fonts used. You say "the same font size"... yes, but what about the font itself?
If on your machine you used a font that doesn’t exist on the other machine, Word will still display the name of your font, but in reality, it will have replaced it with another one.
To find out if this is the case, check under the File tab, Advanced Options, View document content => Font substitution.
And otherwise, try to show us two screenshots so we can see where these differences lie: differences in formatting, layout??

From now on, if a user tells me "it's not working" without any further info..., I'm giving up!
