Hello

For several weeks, the Yahoo Mail toolbar has disappeared when I open it with the Firefox browser on my PC.
This is the top bar containing the fields "mail selection," "Archive," "Delete," "Archive," "Spam"
I am using the 64-bit version 85.0 of Firefox on Windows 10, but the same thing happened with the previous version 84++, and this has been going on for several weeks.
I have been using Firefox and Yahoo Mail for years on this PC, and this is the first time I have encountered this phenomenon, especially surprising since I have no issues with Edge or Chrome.
And it's incomprehensible... I don't have this problem with the same versions of Firefox and Yahoo Mail when I use my laptop!!
There must be some incompatibility somewhere, but where???

Attached are screenshots of Yahoo Mail:
- 1st screenshot under Edge: the menu bar is there
- 2nd screenshot under Firefox: the bar has disappeared

Does anyone have a solution to propose?
Thank you for your responses

Hello,

The top bar "Archive " Delete " "Archive " Spam " is clearly visible with Firefox 85.0 64 bit on my end.

Even in private browsing.

1- Clear the Firefox cache

2- Launch Firefox in Private Browsing
Make sure you don't have extension icons, especially Adblock.

3- In Yahoo Mail go to Settings (Gear icon at the top right)
At the bottom, disable and re-enable right away --► Message Tabs
Open a message and check if the menu bar has returned.

4- See Privacy options --►Cookies
Custom
Check only --►Cookies

--►In normal window disable Adblock (Click on the logo next to the address bar).
--►Do you have a synced Firefox account? (Firefox Sync)

A+

Thank you very much for your help!
Indeed, the problem was resolved by disabling Adblock for Yahoo mail!
What's strange is that it had never caused a problem until now, and it still doesn't on my laptop that I use with the same version of Firefox!
The mysteries of computing!!!
Thanks again!!

Content for you.
Use Ublock instead of Adblock.
I'm not saying that Adblock is a sieve, but the latter allows ads to pass through due to commercial agreements with certain sites.
Save your user rules (filters) if you have them in a notepad file if you want to copy/paste them into Ublock.

You can mark the subject resolved

Have a good end of the day.

Thank you for the info: yes, I've noticed that Adblock lets quite a few ads through... especially on the Yahoo homepage... quite annoying!
I'll try ublock!
Have a good evening.

If you prefer AdGuard AdBlocker
That's the one I use; it's a step above Ublock.
I'll let you choose, it's up to you to see which one suits you.

See you!
