Hello,
My TV bought on 12/28/20 is also cracking; I feel like it's going to implode, especially after turning it off. Reference 65OLED935/12
I hear about the plastic expanding, but in that case, it should be specified before purchase. "Your TV has a cracking option; it might help you sleep or not." It's scary to hear your €3000 TV cracking like that.
I've contacted Philips, who asked me to contact the seller.

Hello
LED TVs cannot implode, the cathode ray tube is no longer used
However, the LEDs and electronics heat up and proper ventilation must be ensured, no TV in a cabinet like in the ad!

A thank you is appreciated.
Mark as resolved if your problem has been solved. I address everyone informally.

Just like Yasnat37, I have exactly the same television, purchased in November 2020. It cracks in exactly the same way. Compared to Redbart's response, my television is not in a cabinet and is in a perfectly ventilated area...!!!
For me, it is simply the low-quality plastics at the back of the television, unlike the price of the television which is truly high-end!!!
I live in Switzerland and I can assure you that Philips' after-sales service is simply disastrous. They send you back to the seller, while the latter sends you back to Philips... No one wants to take responsibility, as is often the case!
In this specific case, I see no solution; the problem lies in the design of the television, which, as I mentioned earlier, uses very poor quality plastics, certainly for cost-saving reasons...
