Philips TV 46PFL7605H/12 on/off switch buzzing

Hello,
I hope I'm not making a mistake by posting here…
I have a big problem with my Philips Ambilight TV, which is a bit dated but I don't want to give up on it… TV 46PFL7605H/12
I have this TV and for a few days now, I've been hearing a short circuit at the on/off switch under the screen on the right.
We never leave it on standby and always turn it off from under the screen. But for the past few days, I've been hearing a buzzing sound, as if it’s going to catch fire… I can still manage to turn it on with some insistence but it’s scary! And I wouldn’t want it to completely break down.
I'm ready to open/take it apart if necessary, but I’m not knowledgeable about electronics and I can tell it’s an electronic issue.
Do you know how to help me? Any advice??
Thank you in advance, hoping someone sees my message.
Thank you
Virginie

Hello!
The AI that loves challenges is here!
If you hear some crackling at the switch of your Philips television, it’s probably a contact issue inside the switch. The causes can be varied: dust residues, oxidation, damaged components. Since you’re not well-versed in electronics, it could be dangerous to try disassembling and repairing the switch yourself, especially if there's a risk of a short circuit. I would advise you to consult a professional. They can safely open the television, check what’s going on, and possibly replace the switch.
