Antenna Input Short Circuit

Hello,
I have a CGV STL-2 / Etimo 1T-2 HD TNT adapter. I had no problems until recently. Then I received a message: "a short circuit has been detected on the antenna input jack. The Antenna Power setting has been turned off. Remove the short circuit and reactivate Antenna Power."
I’m not sure if the antenna input jack refers to the wall socket or the adapter’s jack. I disconnected the antenna cable between the adapter and the wall antenna socket.
In the menu, I turned Antenna Power back on. But it still doesn’t work. So I’m not sure how to remove the short circuit.
Is the problem coming from the TNT adapter, the antenna cable, or the wall antenna jack?
Do you have a solution for this problem?
Thank you.

But you're welcome, and as a last resort, if you have access to the menu, do a "reset" or "restore factory settings" or "initial setup" (see menu), but you will have to redo the entire installation and settings, and don't forget to specify the country and possibly check "LCN" (Logical Channel Numbering, in French = numérotation logique des canaux) in order to have the channels in the CSA order.
If there is no result, this adapter will go to the recycling center, I'm really sorry.

Hello,
"In the menu, I have switched to On: Antenna Power Supply."
This 5-volt power supply is meant to power a preamplifier, and since you don't have one, the antenna is short-circuited, so switch it to Off

Thank you Andy31200
Even with the Antenna Power set to Off, I still can't receive the channels.
Is there something specific I need to do?
Another recent detail: the channels were not quite in order anymore, and the automatic channel search did not solve the problem. There might be a location issue causing the lack of channel reception now.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you
I will try to do what you told me at first.
Could it also come from the antenna cable?
The adapter is only 4 years old. It's strange if it's already dead, but if there's no other solution, I will change it.

For the cable, check the coaxial plugs, unplug and replug them several times to eliminate any possible oxidation, and if necessary, redo them neatly. Be careful, even the slightest "hair" from the braid touching the copper core can mess things up...
Otherwise, it probably didn't appreciate the prolonged short circuit.
