HDMI to SCART conversion: no color.

Hello,

I was planning to connect an HDMI DVD player to an (old) Peritel TV. I found an HDMI to Peritel adapter, everything works... except that it’s all in BLACK AND WHITE.

I don't understand the problem.

I'm looking for help..

    Hello,

    I don't believe it because, although it's old (over 20 years), it works very well with a normal DVD player (Sony, less than fifteen years old, bought in Belgium), we watch all our DVDs on this television.
    On the adapter, there is a button to choose either PAL or NTSC, but neither gives color... No SECAM.
