SCART to HDMI Converter
Hello,
I'm looking for a good SCART to HDMI converter to connect a VCR to a recent HD LED TV, which doesn't have a SCART socket.
I was thinking about this one:
https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B06WV73916/ref=emc_b_5_i
Is this a good choice because I'm looking in that price range, or should I completely go for something else?
Or, since the VCR has a yellow RCA video output, maybe I can connect it to the new TV which has an input that I can't really determine because I'm unsure if it's truly an AV input, it doesn't look like a standard socket....
Anyway, thanks for providing some clarification.

Hello,
What is the full model of your TV as it should have analog video inputs, RCA jacks for green, red, and blue for video and red and white for audio

The TV is this one:

Except that the description of the connections is incorrect because there are not 3 HDMI ports but 2, there is also no scart socket and the audio/video composite connection is not "standard" as shown in the diagram:
https://manual.yamaha.com/av/18/rxv485/fr-FR/313299595.html
It's very strange, I can't determine what it is, it looks like a jack socket but not quite...
But I think I'm going to have to use a converter after all. -
I don't understand, you're giving the diagram of an amplifier...
In the description, your TV has a composite video input (yellow RCA) and red and white audio inputs.
For the VCR, you say:
"Or else, the VCR having a yellow RCA video output,"
If it's at the front, it's an input; otherwise, you'll need this:
Connected to the VCR via the SCART output and connected to the TV with this:

Sorry for replying three days later, here is the connection I was talking about:
This is what I meant by the socket not being standard in the sense that it's not like what you would usually find on TVs or amplifiers.
I have the impression that it’s a jack socket. -
Yes, these are indeed jack connections, but an adapter was delivered with the TV (to be inserted into the AV socket), and if you no longer have it, buy this:

No, there was nothing at all with the TV.
The only accessory is the remote control.
Thank you for your response anyway :) -
But you're welcome, and they are cheeky ones who play it cheap, so all you have to do is buy the Jack-> RCA cable.
