Actually, if I understood correctly, the HDMI from the box is connected to 1 device, which is connected to the 2nd device that is connected to the SCART of the TV.

Is that right?

However, we don't know if it works...?

I need your help again.
On the AMAZON site, after asking which adapter I should choose, one of the users replied to me:

LION0548 says
"actually there are 2 types of adapters, the first with a SCART input / HDMI output and the other with HDMI input and SCART output. You need adapter n° 2, HDMI input / SCART output. Connect your box to the HDMI input of the adapter with an HDMI cable, then connect the SCART cable from the adapter to your television on SCART output AV 1 or 2, then set your TV to AV channel. Check which model you have!"

I don't understand anything he says, but which adapter is he talking about? The one for €31.99 or not? I'm giving you the link to Amazon again:

On my current Samsung LCD TV, I only connect the SCART cable, nothing else, I don't understand....

In the meantime, I chatted with Samsung, who confirmed that if I need it, I need the adapter box (HDMI out) - adapter (HDMI IN) - adapter (PERITEL OUT) - TV (PERITEL IN)

so it's indeed the first adapter at €31 on AMAZON.

If the box has a SCART, it will be simpler.

I'm getting back to you because I have another problem: I received the Bbox Miami but the ADSL cable is too short to reach the phone socket.

I don't understand why they don't anticipate this type of problem nowadays; not everyone lives in modern, well-configured buildings!?!

Since I still can't reach customer service, do you know what kind of ADSL cable I should get that is at least 3/4 m long?

What I don't understand is that when I was connected to Numéricable a long time ago, the phone was plugged into that famous free socket which connected directly to the modem. I never connected a modem or a box via the wall socket; it was only used for old phones over 20 years ago....

Otherwise, I'm going to find a solution to move the socket, it's not a big deal since the cable that goes from the socket runs next to my TV before exiting the wall...someone who knows what they're doing will manage to do it, the only thing is to find them ;-)
