Hello.
I have a SAGEM D49 HD landline with the caller ID option.
Suddenly, it started displaying only the number.
I couldn't find any explanation.
Could someone please help me?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
the display of the name is related to your subscription, check with your operator.

a hello, a response, a thank you are always appreciated.-
Hello,
the operator displays the number, it is not hidden, but it's the phone's internal directory or the PABX that links the number to the name.- There is also a specific subscription https://boutique.orange.fr/ligne-fixe/services-et-options/presentation-nom
- For that, I think you need to register a directory somewhere with Orange, otherwise they won't know, it seems to me.
Edith:If the name, first name (or company name for professionals) does not appear in the "Name Presentation" database,
only the caller's line number will be displayed, provided that this number is not
replaced by an indication of unavailability and that it is not subject to the other restrictions referred to in articles 4 and 5.

The information on the names of Orange customers in the Red List and on the opt-out lists for
reverse lookup services is not presented to the terminal as it does not appear in the "Name Presentation" database.
The information on callers from abroad, or from mobile operator subscribers, or from subscribers to a local loop third-party operator (not subscribed to the Orange service) may not be presented to the customer's terminal if it does not
appear in the "Name Presentation" database.
Only the number is presented on the customer's terminal, provided that this number is not replaced by an indication
of unavailability or that the call was not made in secret mode.

In short,
it would only work for landline numbers with Orange that are listed in the universal directory, so not many people outside of professionals today.

Hello,
If you open the directory...
Do you find any traces of your correspondents?
