Copy / Paste Word Table

Question

Hello,

I created in Word 2007 a "type" table that includes a header and a footer.

I would like to reproduce this table about twenty times with different headers and footers.

It's not very clear... A table neither has a header nor a footer, which are concepts reserved for document layout.

Furthermore, what do you mean by "type table"? A building block?

Anyway, you need to tell us more.

Hello.

I see only one solution: copy and paste the empty table, then fill in the headers and footers.

If the latter are just information written in the first and last row of the table, all tables can be in the same document.
But if they are genuine headers and footers, you will need to either insert a section break after each table page or create a file for each table.

For a trial cost, it's a masterstroke.

Sometimes, I wonder if Excel for creating a table is more efficient and user-friendly.

Words of a novice, with training that dates back about two years.

The requested information followed a search for certain A.C.I. of French songs.

Hello BASHUNG.  That's perfect, if this solution works for you. You're rightly asking the question "Excel or Word for a user-friendly table?" ... It all depends on the content of the table, of course!     I prefer: <= Word 95% --- Excel 05% --------------------- --------------------- Word 01% --- Excel 99% =>  I prefer: Word 85% -- Excel 15% ----------------------------------------------------------- Word 40% -- Excel 60%          -- Retirement is great!
