How to activate Bluetooth on Continental Edison TV CELED32S419B3 Solved

Question

Hello,
I am ready to buy a second-hand (1 year old, still has 1 year warranty) Continental Edison CELED32S419B3 TV, I went to the seller and couldn't find the menu to activate Bluetooth to connect my wireless headphones. I couldn't find a user manual for this TV online, I wrote to Continental Ed, no response, nothing found on YouTube....
Anyway, I need help.

@baladur13, unless I'm mistaken, you pointed out the wireless display from a smartphone.

@Regis46, after checking the manual, there is no mention of Bluetooth anywhere, except to indicate that you should not get too close to a BT device (to avoid interference).

For me, there is only Wi-Fi on this TV.

Two suggestions:

- either look for a Wi-Fi headset (most being BT or FM (radio) connection)
- or use a BT transmitter, to be plugged into the headphone jack or the SPDIF output (optical fiber)

Indeed, the notice linked corresponds to another model. In general, Bluetooth devices indicate this with a logo. In any case, the activation is likely done on the remote control, and it would be better to know the button or the code given the manufacturer's responsiveness.

Good evening,

Rather than struggling with Bluetooth, a simple wireless headset with its charging base plugged in one end to the mains to charge the headset and on the other end a 3.5mm stereo JACK connected to the TV's headphone output will do the trick.

For example, I’ve been using a Sony RF Wireless Headset MDR-RF811RK for years, and it works great, it's simple and easy to use, bought back in the day for the modest sum of €59.00.

Moreover, if by bad luck we can no longer find a battery for the headset, we can always insert two AAA batteries.

For your information, when I bought this headset, and as a precaution, I also purchased a Sony battery (€25.00) for this headset just in case the original one malfunctioned.

Why complicate life with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and others when it's possible to keep it simple with a basic wireless headset???

This is, of course, just an opinion and a personal experience, but it works without any complications ;-)
