Hello,
My laptop's built-in microphone is producing a robotic and choppy sound since a hard drive repair following a Windows update (my microphone was working perfectly before).
This happens no matter which application is using my microphone.

PC configuration:
Windows 10 64bit
Intel i5

    Hello,

    It is possible (it's common) that the update disabled the correct driver in favor of a generic driver.

    You can try updating the sound card driver from the device manager or uninstall it in the same module so that it can automatically reinstall after a restart, or download it from the manufacturer's website.

      When I perform an automatic driver update search, Windows tells me it is up to date. And I cannot find it on the internet.
      Should I uninstall the device so that Windows reinstalls it?
