Hello, I have a problem with my Ordissimo keyboard
I can't unlock my keys. Above the numeric keypad on the right, I have some indicators ==> one with a small 1 surrounded which means the numeric keypad is operational, another with the shift key, and another with a down arrow. These 3 symbols can light up and I see that the 1 is not lit, so my numeric keypad is not working. I don't have a Num LK key, etc., since it's an Ordissimo. Does anyone know how to turn this function back on? I've looked on various sites and I can't find it. It was lit before, and I don't even know how I turned it off.
Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 86.0.4240.198

??? Is it compatible with macOS? I don't see any indication of this on their site (not very clear, I must say)...

Hello at home!
Bernard-
No, it's a completely locked-down Debian with a specific keyboard. The purpose of the lock is supposedly to prevent the user from making mistakes, but in reality, it mainly encourages them to pull out their credit card as often as possible...
As for the argument about the simplified keyboard for elderly people... In that case, why not go for a Chromebook? It's much cheaper, it's safer because it's impossible to cause a software failure through a mistake, and it's just as easy to use!

Hello,
Ordissimo operates on the basis of a customized and non-configurable Linux distribution, known as simplified, to match the brand's target audience (elderly, disabilities), somewhat like the DORO brand in fixed telephony.
As a result, there isn't (I haven't found on the site) a link to an online customer service or even a FAQ. No internal search engine to ask questions either.
Only paid tickets for responses on three themes are offered.
I found these two links:
https://www.ordissinaute.fr/ordissimo/fiche-pratique/2014-04-11-connaissez-vous-la-touche-fonction-de-votre-clavier
http://www.sogexim.fr/les-secrets-ordissimo.htm
But there may be others. And a phone number: 01 40 84 72 00
I am reclassifying your post in the Linux category, so you have a better chance of getting more responses.
Sincerely -
Hello,
Can you post a readable photo of the keyboard?
Upload it to cjoint.com and post the link here.
