Button 5 not working on Free remote control

I found a similar topic on this forum, but not quite identical, which is why I'm asking my question separately, especially since I've seen a few people here and there in the same situation (but who haven’t received answers).

Voilà: I just got a Freebox Revolution (by the way, hello to the installer, it's best not to be too clueless about computers or TV and co, because you really have to "finish the job"!!!). My problem concerns the number 5 button: do you know why it is raised? Is it for a special function? In any case, it doesn't control channel France 5 at my place.
All channels (standard or TNT) work via my Free remote, except for 5.
I think that since it is raised, maybe it's to distinguish it from the others, meaning its use wouldn't be to bring up France 5 on the screen?
Well, it's not a big deal, you just need to switch to 6 and go down one notch, but I'd really like to understand the reasoning behind it.
Thank you if you can enlighten me and tell me how to get France 5 on the screen directly...

    I also have the Freebox Révolution, and the button with the raised number 5 is functional and correctly displays the channel France 5

    Hello,

    For the relief, probably a marker for visually impaired people... Not for watching TV, obviously, but to "navigate" on the remote control: the relief is in the middle.

    As for the malfunction towards channel 5, a breakdown? Check with Free to replace the device...

    Thank you for your interest in my question (and I laughed at the precision in parentheses!).
    I read somewhere, but without any further details or a way to ask the person who said it, that the 5 button is known for "giving access to the numeric keypad" (I assume in the programming record option).
    Well, I'm okay with that, but still, the basic principle of a television remote is: one number on a button = the corresponding channel. I find it strange that no one asks the question (or perhaps I searched poorly...) of how to get to France 5...
    But as I said, it's not vital: I go to channel 6 and go down, or to channel 4 and go up.
    What annoys me is not understanding!

    Thank you Billmaxime: so I deduce that the problem comes from my remote control. It might be a settings issue or a technical defect, but since it annoys me to call Free, I'll continue to use channel 6 or 4... unless I notice that the supposed action of this button to open a numeric keypad, which I don't intend to use (I really don't care about TV via freebox, my standard channels are enough for me)

    And I understand better now why no one was asking how to get to 5!!!
