Hello everyone, I just got hold of an Ordissimo that also has a Windows 7 Home version. However, I have a ton of photos on the Ordissimo side but almost nothing on the Windows 7. I don't know anything about Ordissimo where it seems you can't do much. How could I retrieve all these photos to my external hard drive? Help! Thank you in advance.

PS: This is my late grandfather's Ordissimo.

    Good evening,

I don't know much about Ordissimo but you should be able to manage with the file explorer

P.S.: W7 is no longer updated, consider migrating to W10 or Linux.

    Have a good evening.

    Good evening,

If you are unable to create a shared folder in the Ordissimo environment (which is a Linux system but locked down for simplification reasons according to the manufacturer), you can use an external hard drive or a sufficiently large USB stick to export the photos and retrieve them on Windows 7.

    Best regards

I've plugged in the external hard drive and on the Ordissimo part, nothing happened... and on Windows 7 there's only one folder of photos, everything is only visible on Ordissimo but I'm only offered to delete or send by email...

Do a test with a USB key to see if you can transfer files. If you don't know how to use either the Ordissimo environment or W7, it will be complicated. Try to get familiar with Ordissimo. You may need to detect the external hard drive before you can use it, but I'm not familiar with that particular environment.

At the very least, it should appear and you should be able to see its current content.

Perhaps another drive can help you.
