Hello,
I ordered books in ACSM format before realizing that it is not compatible with my Kindle :-(
I found a solution here, but unfortunately it doesn't work unless you pay for the Epubor software license
https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-26868449-convertir-acsm-en-pdf
Is there another solution?
Thank you in advance
Bénédicte
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 85.0.4183.102

Hello,
So, ACSM is not exactly a format: it's a piece of junk that means when you buy an ebook, it is protected by the junk of DRM which means:
- you have to go through ADE (Adobe Digital Edition) to remove the protection
- you can't share your book, not even with your spouse
- you can only read it with the device you specified.
And when you see all the difficulties so many people have to deal with these damn DRMs, you might think that now, just to read an old book, you need a master's degree!
Books without DRM come directly with an EPUB extension.
And you have the double whammy since you have a Kindle whose books are compatible with nothing else and force you to buy everything on Amazon.
There are free solutions to remove DRM, but they are being taken down one by one by the do-gooders.

From now on, if a user tells me "it doesn't work" without more info..., I'm out!
