LG SL10YG soundbar stuck on please wait

Hello,

So here is my issue, less than a year ago (December 2019) I bought the flagship soundbar from LG, the SL10YG. When I first opened it, I had the same problem as today, and it was replaced directly with a new one without really knowing why it didn't work. With my new soundbar, everything worked well throughout the year, but today once again the soundbar is stuck, it won't turn on with the remote; and I can't do anything, the only available functions are volume + and - the rest of the buttons display "please wait" on the screen when I press them. Then the soundbar eventually turns off.
The Google Assistant lights at the bottom of the display light up this way (0-2-4-0). Does anyone have a solution? The reset doesn't work, I've unplugged and replugged it several times, I'm getting desperate, it has a 5-year warranty but I'm thinking that 1000€ for a soundbar if it breaks after the warranty will hurt a lot... Thank you in advance

Hello and welcome to this forum,

You've tried what you needed to and I have no other advice to give you except to make use of the warranty, sorry.

    Hello,

I have exactly the same issue since this morning. It appeared out of nowhere.
Nothing works, it's impossible to reboot or do a factory reset.
I sent it back for repair through Boulanger where I bought it. NB: LG customer service suggested that I send the device back AT MY EXPENSE???? I, of course, refused and went through the retailer. Now it's a wait of 2 to 3 weeks...

If a solution is found in the meantime, I'm still interested! I haven't found anything online.

For information, if anyone has the same issue...
I picked up the soundbar this morning (not yet reinstalled) they changed the motherboard and the WiFi card. So apparently there's nothing we can do when it happens to us...
Good luck to those who might face this!
