Hello !!
I come to share with you all my "big" problem which has never been resolved despite numerous calls to Orange.
The problem in question is this, my livebox disconnects whenever it wants and it has always done that! It disconnects and it takes about 5 minutes for it to reconnect, which causes issues during online gaming, webcam conversations, etc.
I know what you are going to suggest, check if there is a capacitor, reset your livebox, reinstall your WiFi adapter, etc. etc. This has not resolved and will never resolve this problem -_-".
I don't know if any of you have the solution but it is starting to become annoying! Furthermore, Orange doesn't know how to do anything except conduct line tests that never lead to anything!
So here it is, if you have a solution I'm all ears!
Thanks in advance!!

Hello,
It's simply the automatic updates of your Livebox. So, apart from waiting, there’s nothing you can do.

No, it's not the updates, I can differentiate updates (that's normal) and disconnections (which are not normal)!
It happens several times a day and we never know why! ^^

Hi
Frequent disconnections can be due to a bad connection (inside), faulty power supply, etc...
What you can do is to hassle Orange on the phone by telling them that: "you are not happy, that nothing is working and that you want to change your ISP if they don’t resolve the situation."
Most of the time, it works like a charm! (tested with Alice!)
Alternatively, you can ask them to change your livebox. I believe it's possible in 2 ways: 1) you bought it in-store, so you take it back saying "woe is me, it doesn’t work" (sarcastically) 2) you bought it another way and you do it over the phone.
Hope this helps just in case nothing works: https://www.clubic.com/article-78636-1-changer-fai-fournisseur-dacces-internet.html

Use free software, it's simple and sometimes free

Hello,
it happens to me too sometimes, but my following method may not necessarily apply to yours.
To remedy this, I position myself at this address: http://192.168.1.1/ password twice admin,
go to:
configuration, advanced, then network and click on submit, then apply changes, wait a minute, and your network should become operational again.

Yeah, this must be at least the 5th livebox I've owned ^^
econo,
I'll give it a try and keep you updated ;)

Hello everyone,
Having spent a lot of time reading about everyone's struggles... which resembled mine, I thought I’d share a suggestion.
I was connected to the Livebox via USB and I was experiencing regular disconnections on P2P and occasionally while browsing (Mozilla).
I bought a PCI Ethernet card and voila... no more issues... and when I say no more... it's been problem-free for 3 months!!!
So, I imagine this won't help those who are already connected via Ethernet... but for those using USB, it's worth investing 15€ (maximum) to see if it improves things.

check that the RJ45 and RJ11 cables as well as the telephone sockets do not disconnect when tapping on them.
you can test this if you have subscribed to a TV package or by observing the LED indicators on the livebox.

I went to a friend's place to help him set up his Freebox, and at one point it lost sync and took a long time to resynchronize. That's when I realized it was coming from the central office in my town since we're connected to the same one!
So in the end, there's nothing to do but optimize that damn central office! (I have to admit that I live in a small village).
Thanks anyway for trying to help me!
