Hello,
Following a MacOS system update, the method presented on https://phychim.ac-versailles.fr/spip.php?article1069 no longer works (because the software is 32-bit).
Does anyone have a solution for installing it?

Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 13.1.2

Hello,

“…going back to an older version of MacOS would take away lots of features…”:
I don’t know the exact model of your Mac, but to get a system that supports 32-bit, you have the option of version Mojave 10.14 or High Sierra 10.13 or even El Capitan 10.11, which I use every day and I don’t feel limited in terms of applications, but maybe you’re using more demanding applications than I am.
Question: Python works on any platform (MacOS, Windows, Linux), so why do you need to install this tool?

Other solutions:
- find another training site,
- install Windows 10 on your Mac using BootCamp Assistant (you will need to purchase a Windows 10 license)
- borrow a PC or even buy a basic PC for 200 to 300€ to take this training...

Good evening,
If you have upgraded to MacOS Catalina, then be aware that Catalina only accepts applications encoded in 64-bits.
Two solutions:
- your application will be ported to 64-bits, you just need to be patient.
- your application is unlikely to be migrated to 64-bits, so you absolutely need to revert to the version of MacOS you had before.

Good evening,
First of all, thank you for your response. It is very unlikely that the application will be migrated to 64 bits, and going back to an older version of MacOS would remove many features that I use often, so I do not consider this option.
Considering that EduPython is only available on Windows as an .exe, I had used "xquartz" and "wine" to address this. But my problem is the 32-bit format.
