Hello,
I created a Facebook page for my activities. I am unable to create a username (@username). I keep getting the following message:
"This page cannot have a username"
I have changed the name several times and I consistently receive this message. What is the solution to fix this problem?
Thank you

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 85.0.4183.83

Hello,
I had the same problem for a few weeks. Then I finally found the solution, based on partly incorrect information found on the Internet, but which got me on the right track.
To create a username on a Facebook page, you first need to have created a username on your personal Facebook account (be careful not to confuse personal account and page). And to create a username on the personal account, your personal account must be verified. A simple way to do this if you have a mobile: go to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=mobile. Add your mobile number. You will receive a code via SMS, which you will then need to enter in the popup that opened in your Facebook tab: your personal account is verified.
Then go to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=account and create your username.
Next, go to your Facebook page and click on "Create a username." And it should work.

P.S.: Some claim on the web that you need to have 25 likes on your page to be allowed to create a page username. I only have 9 likes on my page (https://www.facebook.com/facilitinfo/ and the procedure described above worked nevertheless.

The method doesn't work, I already have a username and even another Facebook page with a username. It's impossible to create a username for my second page.

Hello,
Indeed, it was enough to add his phone number.
Thank you for the advice.
