Hello,
I have a Canon Pixma 3600 that I purchased before my vacation. After some tough manipulations, I managed to connect it to the wifi network and AirPrint worked well with my Apple devices. However, upon returning from vacation, the Canon is no longer detected by my devices? I can't connect to the Canon's network (I've restarted the wifi multiple times on the device by following the procedures on the wifi, color buttons, etc.)
Thank you for your help

By the way: as someone who hasn't bought a printer in 10 years, I am shocked by everything being connected; it has really become a hassle to get devices to work these days. My IT skills are average, but for those who are even less versed in "digital" than me, it's just horrible.

Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 13.1.2

Hello,

Could this be a driver issue?

Wasn't there a disc provided with the printer that indicated you needed to visit a site to install a specific driver?

This is often the case with this type of device, and it could just be that there was an update during your absence that you missed, and therefore the connection is impossible until it's done.

Hoping to steer you in the right direction :)

Hello,

In general, with Canon, there are no updates and the driver provided initially on the CD works without issue.

However, you can download the drivers and manuals on the site https://www.canon.fr/support/
You just need to provide the name of the Pixma MG36xx printer to access everything that might be interesting.

The problem is that the computer is a Mac.
So we must hope that an Apple enthusiast comes by!
