Hello,
For some time now, when I have a table that spans two pages, the moment I hit Enter and the table moves to a single page, OpenOffice crashes. I was using version 4.1.1, so I updated to 4.1.7, but the problem persists. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue? Because since I have several tables in my document, it crashes now one out of three times when I hit Enter, which is really annoying!
I have Windows 10.
Thank you!

Hello,
You can run a test with LibreOffice.
https://fr.libreoffice.org/download/telecharger-libreoffice/
If there is no improvement, you will uninstall it.

If you don't show us your Office file, we'll never know why your file crashes...
1) Go to https://www.cjoint.com/
2) Click on [Browse] to select your file (15 MB max)
3) Scroll down to click on the blue button [Create Cjoint link]
4) After a few seconds, the second page will display, with the link in bold; right-click on it and choose "Copy link"
5) Return to your discussion on CCM, and in your message, paste it.

Everything works perfectly well for me.
So it's not the file that's the issue, but your version of Writer.
I suggest you forget about Open Office and use Libre Office instead (which is also available for free).
If you have reasons to keep Open Office, uninstall it and download it again.
Best regards.

Just a little clarification: I don’t see any trace of a version 4.1.7 in the link https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenOffice.org#Versions_du_logiciel

Hello,
Open Office can be downloaded here: https://www.openoffice.org/fr/Telecharger/
and version 4.1.7 is indeed the one offered.
There's no need to look for complications.
Now, from my point of view, it's better to use LibreOffice (more frequent updates).
