Hello,

I have a BenQ XL2411 monitor and a PC equipped with a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Armor 8GB graphics card. Until now, I was only using 60 Hz with an HDMI cable, but since my hardware is capable of reaching 144 Hz, I bought a DVI-D cable. The problem is, after properly connecting the cable, the monitor does not recognize it.

Is there any manipulation to do regarding the cable change? / Has the PC "got used" to sending information via HDMI?

Thank you in advance :)

    Hello,

Since HDMI has a greater capacity than DVI, I don't quite understand the approach o_O

Maybe we need to switch the display to "second screen" mode (Windows + P once and then while holding the Windows key, press "P" 3 times; you might need to unlock the PC blindly beforehand)

    Regards.
