Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 9300 laptop with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but the problem is that I can't activate Bluetooth.
There is a Bluetooth button next to the keyboard, but when I press it, it says: no Bluetooth device found.

PS: Next to me, I have my mobile phone with Bluetooth activated.

Please help me ......
Configuration: Windows Vista AOL 9.0

I don't know how to activate the Bluetooth connection.
Knowing that I have Bluetooth® 2.0+EDR.
Is it possible or not?

I also own an Acer Aspire 9300 laptop and I have the same problem with Bluetooth. But the only CD I received with the PC is the installation CD for Vista, so I didn't get the Acer CD. The manual doesn't mention Bluetooth anywhere.

Hi

Install the driver provided with the PC; it should be on a disc that came with it.

Otherwise, search for the model of your Bluetooth card using SIW and find the associated driver on www.touslesdrivers.com
Please: No text messages and as much information as possible to respond to you
Use free software; it's simple and sometimes free.

I have a Dell E6500. At first, the Bluetooth icon wasn't turning on, I explored all possibilities: checked the BIOS, Control Panel, etc. Nothing worked, the Bluetooth remained off. The Wi-Fi icon lit up, however, after I pressed the button on the side of the laptop. Eventually, I checked the "program files" directory under C. There, I found a subdirectory called WIDCOMM (as in WINDows COMMunication, I suppose), and under this subdirectory was another subdirectory called "Bluetooth software." It contains four executable files (with the .exe extension, application), and I don't remember which of the four turned on the Bluetooth icon when I double-clicked on it. Since then, the Bluetooth icon turns on and off together with the Wi-Fi icon (using the same button). If you don't have the "Bluetooth software" directory, I should be able to send it to you as an email attachment; it's compressed and is 3 MB, please contact me. If you have it and it starts your Bluetooth, could you please reply to this email indicating the precise name of the executable that activates Bluetooth?

Hi, thanks to you Kelte, I managed to reactivate my Bluetooth. I don't know which app triggered the Bluetooth, but I clicked on several apps multiple times and it worked. In any case, you ended my sleepless nights. Thanks again.

Yes, hello, I have the same computer as you and it turns out that there simply is no Bluetooth card, it's an option!

Hello,
To activate the keys and indicators,
you need, in addition to the usual drivers, to search for and launch:
LaunMgr_Dritek_1.1.1.3_VistaX86

on the Acer website:
https://www.acer.com/ac/fr/FR/content/drivers
but under Application and not Driver

Happy searching!
