Hello,
for some time now I've noticed that my resolution is stuck at 1366x768,
while before I could go up to 1920x1080. I have an NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics card and an Intel i7-7700HQ processor at 2.80GHz.
I would like to be able to recover my original resolution.
Thank you for your help.

Yes, for me, there is a connection... It's that the screen they replaced for you is not the same... it doesn’t have the definition stated in the specifications of the laptop...
But well, he repaired the laptop for a lower price, it’s working again, I suppose you’ll have to get used to it... otherwise, you'll have to change the screen again...

Hello,
This is the resolution of the laptop's display, probably
Depending on your version of Windows, updates can overlook your video driver that is not from Microsoft... You need to reinstall the Nvidia driver...xxx or roll back to a previous configuration...
I've seen this before, a new update and the definition decreases... reverting to the old drivers restores a better definition...
However, it's important to know that a resolution of 1920x1080 on a 1366x768 display remains an emulation (a trick), so you need to have the numbers on hand to discuss it...

HP makes millions of models... you need the exact model... it should be written underneath.
remove the graphics card from the device manager and restart the PC, Windows will install the appropriate driver

A thank you is appreciated.
Mark it as resolved if your problem has been solved. I use the informal "you" with everyone.

Indeed, the panel is indeed 1920*1080
check here for the driver:

it's still the original resolution
so, tell us everything that has been modified...
