Hello, I'm not very skilled... I have a new Note 8 phone... my contacts are complaining that they can't hear me... the sound is at maximum... is there something I’m doing wrong? Thank you for your help...

try it when a caller contacts you "put it on speaker and talk into the microphone at the bottom of the device and ask if you can be heard clearly " if so, it means you are speaking a little less into the microphone or it is obstructed, which often happens when it’s been sitting in a pocket or elsewhere!

Just a quick question, do you have a Samsung Note 8 or a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8? You mentioned a cover that could be blocking the microphone, you probably mean a case; generally, if it's a case designed for the phone model, there shouldn't be any issues as they are tailored to all the functions. As for the microphone, it's a tiny isolated hole, use a toothbrush to clean it.
