TCL TS7010 Soundbar Solved

Question

Hello, I just bought this soundbar, but I don't quite understand the installation even though it seems rather simple. However, it's impossible to get sound from it. I don't understand if it is compatible with my Samsung television. I have also selected the external speakers in my TV's sound settings... Could you please provide me with a solution?

What ports are used on the soundbar and the television?

Which HDMI port on the TV? There are 3.
Are any other HDMI ports being used? For a TV decoder (TV Box or Canal or others)?

Normally, the HDMI port to be used is marked ARC and there is, in my opinion, a setting in the television regarding the digital signal output format
See television manual on page 111 "Settings > Sound > Expert Settings" then "Digital Audio Output Format".
Using the HDMI ARC output causes problems for many people.

I think it is less random to use an optical cable.

This option will also require a choice of digital output format and probably a setting in the "Sound" menu of the television to enable the optical output
