Hello,
This morning, I couldn't print a Word file as a .pdf.
The file saves as a "text document" in Notepad! I tried modifying the settings in the control panel, but nothing works. I'm wondering what happened because I've never encountered this problem before.
I'm on Windows 10, which has some pretty annoying quirks (compared to the compliant W7)!

Configuration: Windows / Opera 68.0.3618.63

Hello.
Press the Windows and i keys
Click on Apps -> Default apps -> Choose default apps by file type
Check which program is associated with the .PDF

Thank you for your response. I have already attempted this operation, but whether the chosen program is Edge or Acrobat, this Word file I want to convert to PDF does not go through!
I have tried with other similar Word files, or Excel files, and everything works normally there. In fact, the conversion to .pdf seems impossible for this document, and only for this one (a 3-page contract).
With Acrobat PDFMaker, it's the same: "the Adobe PDF printer failed to create the pdf file."

You must have in your document an element that cannot be converted or saved as a PDF... It could be an image, an invisible character, a font, or an out-of-format object.
Proceed by elimination:
Try converting page by page... If one page doesn't go through, remove elements from that page (like an image) or replace the fonts.
Be careful with spaces and invisible characters, which also count as characters.
