how can we, on the following version Configuration: Mac OS 10.9.5 keep the hyperlinks created in .docx when converting to pdf? -- thank you for letting me know if this is possible on my version. LTPP19
There are 2 ways to save a document as a PDF. The first is to print with PDF Creator, which does not keep hyperlinks. The second is to save as a PDF, which preserves the links in your Word files.
So go to Save As, click on the dropdown menu, and choose PDF; your links will be preserved.

What generosity and what efficiency! Big thank you and have a great day Pierre
So I'm tempted to tell you to install a utility or to use an online conversion site.

Thank you, I will probably have to go through this solution, yet my supplier assures me that with the same version as mine, he has no problem keeping his links when saving as PDF. Thank you for responding anyway. That's very kind of you. Ltpp19
I'm not on Mac, so I didn't look further, but there may have been an update to Word since then. Are those indeed hyperlinks ({Hyperlink}) contained in your document and not links {Link}? Did your provider test your file?
Yes, maybe, but we had the same version of Word for Mac. According to Microsoft's response, it seems that the problem is known and a solution is being considered for a future version if I understand correctly. As for the links, they are indeed hyperlinks. Thank you for taking the trouble to continue this research. Ltpp19
What version of Word do you have? I use the 14.4.7 of Office 2011 and it works without any problem, as mentioned above. However, I also have a 2004 version and there, nothing works.
To convert a Word file to PDF, we have 2 options => either by selecting the PDF format at the time of saving, or by launching the print interface and clicking on the PDF button at the bottom left.
In both cases, the hyperlinks are preserved.
So ... I'm not sure I fully understand your question: what exactly is your problem?
-- Please be patient: I have a 10-hour time difference ...
Big thank you and have a great day
