Hello,
I am working with Windows 10 and Office 2016. I am drafting a document, and whenever I click on save, the same message appears each time, making it impossible to save the document. Here is the infamous message: "You are trying to save a file type (Word 2007 and later templates and documents) that has been blocked by the file blocking settings in the Trust Center." The only option is to click OK, and goodbye document!
Can you help me?

After calling Microsoft support, the issue was resolved by following the procedure indicated by M@rina. In the FILE BLOCKING SETTINGS tab, you need to uncheck all the boxes for the types of files you want to be able to save. Microsoft's comments are not precise enough. Keeping a checkbox checked prevents saving.
