Record shows using Chromecast or other on the cloud Solved

Question

Hello,  I am looking for a solution to record a show and be able to watch it without saving it to a hard drive or anything else. I currently have a TV decoder from Orange. I want to get rid of it and be able to find recording features but without "physical" storage. I was thinking of using a Chromecast and Molotovtv, but there is no recording function in the free offer... Do you have any ideas?  Seb63

Good evening,  The streaming recording does not exist, that is the very reason for streaming to do a replay... So if you have the option (for a fee), the physical storage will be with the provider... Momlotov for example... or SFR...  -- You say I want a solution to record.../ And further on, you say to be able to watch it without recording...... it's still a paradoxical statement... How do you expect it to be possible if it's not stored somewhere..??  Even the "Cloud," you shouldn't dream... there are tons of disks somewhere... the only difference is that you don't know where..?? or with whom..??

Hello,  The solution existed some time ago with Molotovtv according to what I've read. The basic offer allowed for a few hours of free recording. Now the basic offer no longer allows recording; you have to subscribe for €4 a month, which is equivalent to a TV decoder from a telecom operator. This is what I'm looking for in a free way...  I also saw the Captivity app, but can it be installed on an Android smartphone or tablet and record to a cloud...? I inquired with Orange via their Orange TV app, but it corresponds more or less to a remote control on the smartphone. You can schedule a recording that will only be accessible on the decoder.

Yes, that's right, indeed, Molotov was free... but that's been over for about a year now, you have to pay...  Captivity only works on Windows... if you have this PC/Windows, you can record what is replayed... and you can choose to save it on a network server... and that could be the cloud...  All decoders with a hard drive can record their programs and they can only be watched on that particular decoder... The video file is encrypted and cannot be copied to your PC's hard drive or to a friend... It's unreadable.  The only method that works is with TV reception via an antenna on an external receiver capable of recording, either onto a hard drive or onto a USB stick Also with a camera in front of your screen that runs for the entire duration of the program...!
