Chromecast solid orange light

Question

Hello,

The light on my Chromecast stays solid orange and it no longer appears in Google Home. Even when I press and hold the button on the Chromecast, it doesn't reset. What can I do to make it work again?

Configuration: Android / Chrome 85.0.4183.81

Hi, you need to test another 5V power source or set the TV to the correct HDMI source to see if a startup message from the Chromecast appears with an ID code or error message. If the light stays orange, it indicates that no Wi-Fi connection is recognized and the configuration page should display on the TV if the correct HDMI source is selected on the TV.

Good evening Maybe check if the smartphone or tablet controlling the Chromecast is connected to the Wi-Fi?
