How not to lose everything?

Hello, I am going to clean my computer soon and all my documents will be erased.
I would like to know how to back up my documents so I don't lose everything.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello
    Just copy your documents to an external storage device: external hard drive, DVD, USB flash drive
    Don't forget your Outlook Express messages and your favorites.

    Hi.
    The person who does this to you should know better.
    Either you burn everything yourself onto a CD or DVD, or you export it to an external hard drive.
