Projector that flickers!!!

Hello, I have a little problem. Someone gave me a projector for Christmas (around 80-90 euros, but it does the job).
It works very well when I connect it via HDMI to my PC, but it flashes a lot when I connect it via HDMI to my decoder (the decoder is part of Free, it came with my box, and the set is called a Freebox Mini 4K).
I don't really understand why, since I'm a fan of computers and I know my way around, but when issues like this arise, I don't mess around for fear of making a mistake...

Anyway, can you help me diagnose the problem? Since it's still under warranty, I wouldn’t want to send it back for an issue that might not necessarily be with the projector.

And I'm sorry if I selected the wrong category; I chose the one that seemed most appropriate.
Tom.

Hello, I believe I understand that you are using the decoder output to connect your projector.
Your projector probably doesn't have a tuner like a TV, so it can't work.

Good evening/Good morning given the time.
I’m using the HDMI cable from my decoder to my projector.
I will try again during the day by switching HDMI ports, but I’m open to any suggestions or explanations.
      Thank you!

Use the same cable again to reduce the risk of problems.

Check which HDMI port you have plugged your cable into on the decoder.

    HDMI OUT ≠ HDMI IN

      Hello,
I checked all the connections, and everything is properly connected.
But when I reconnected to test, I had to change the source that the projector had selected...
So I changed the source, and everything worked when I put it back!
Maybe it’s because I left them unplugged all night that it works better today, °-°?!

So, everything is working! And thanks for your help!!!
