2 USB-C monitors with an Acer Nitro 5?

Hello, I have an Acer Nitro 5 but I would like to have 2 external screens. However, when I connect my USB-C to VGA, HDMI, DVI, and USB adapter, only the USB port works. If someone could help me, please.

And your USB-C, is it meant to disappear from the picture? I doubt it... The connector is USB Type-C, but does it only carry USB? Thunderbolt 3? DisplayPort? :-)

I’m in the same situation as guiguilegeek, the USB-C port on my laptop (a Nitro 5) doesn’t support video. So what solution do I have left to get 2 additional screens besides my laptop screen?

Hi,
Since the Acer Nitro 5 has a USB 3.0, you can buy a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter.
The USB 3.0 allows for video streaming ;)
P.S.: it's the left USB port next to the HDMI that is 3.0, the other two are not.

Hi,I used a dual monitor setup for several months on my Acer Nitro 5 with this adapter (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B08121Y311/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it worked very well.

I’m looking to connect 2 independent screens to my NITRO5 (even if I don't use the original screen)

- 1 on HDMI Port
- 1 on USB-C port or another...

Would it work with your adapter or are we limited to 1 additional screen on the ACER NITRO5?

Hi,
Personally, I used a setup with two Samsung screens without changing anything in the BIOS.
With the adapter I sent, it allows you to connect one screen to the HDMI and another to the USB 3.0 port, and the PC recognizes both normally.
The only downside is that the resolution of the adapter that comes with the USB 3.0 is limited to full HD at 60 fps.

PS The original screen still works with the two screens, so we can say it's a three-screen setup.
