Sound from my Switch on the screen

Question

WELL, I’m a bit lost. I got my Switch, no problem, I connect it to my fixed PC screen with the HDMI cable + VGA adapter, still no problem, but this time I have to put an extra cable to get an image, some sort of male-to-male jack plug from my Switch to my adapter, but I don’t have any sound!!

Does anyone know how to get sound? Because even if I connect the speakers and put on my headset (basically I connect ---> Switch ---> speaker and headset because I have a spot for ---> screen) well, it doesn’t work...

Good evening,  I think the problem is that you are trying to send an HDMI signal to VGA. Try with a monitor that has an HDMI port and speakers if possible.

The problem is that VGA is not supposed to transfer sound even with adapters using a jack; it has always worked very poorly. Perhaps you could try connecting a speaker with a jack to your switch and adjusting the sound output in its settings.
