How to convert a .kra (Krita) file to PDF

Hello,
I use the software Krita for drawing. I would like to convert the final drawing file into a simple image, as I am forced to take a screenshot, which results in a loss of quality. I think the appropriate format would be PDF, but it could be something else, I'm not very familiar with it.
Thank you for your responses,
Have a nice day.

    Hello,

The .kra format is a working format that allows you to manipulate layers or other effects of the software.

The PDF format is an exchange format that allows you to merge the constituent elements of the document and transmit them without alteration to a third party not equipped with the original software (Krita or other). It is not an image format but a page description format, used for exchange and archiving.

If you want to obtain an image (in terms of file format, namely jpg, png, etc.), you should save or export your .kra file in one of these formats (save as..) by choosing the minimum compression to minimize any distortions that may be generated by it.

Of course, keep your .kra file in case you want to rework it.

    Best regards
