Now, if you leave it on all night, avoid doing so while in a game. Why? Because a game requires a lot of performance (CPU and GPU). Your console heats up, consumes more, and wears out faster.
However, if you leave it on the home menu or while downloading a game, for example, there's no risk; the graphics card and the console's processor aren't working hard. Or barely.

And if it's just, for example, an AFK in GTA to earn money, I leave it all night until 12h, which means, well, 12h with GTA running, does it still damage it? If I played for 2 hours straight just before, making it 14h of gameplay, is it the same or not?
