How to type the password dash (which is suggested when choosing a username)
With the dash under the 8?
I don't see any other.
Thank you in advance.

By the way, in your username, it’s made with the dash of the 8.
Nowadays, in email software, you just have to click on the underline icon to have a word underlined, but back in the days of typewriters, you had to go back and strike the 8 to underline a word.

Hello melo_4111,
Just for your information.
It's also possible to create these dashes using a key combination.
For example, to create the dash located on the 6 key (below the function keys), simply press and hold the Alt key and then type 0150 on the numeric keypad.
This dash is the en dash.
To obtain the long dash (em dash), use the same method with 0151 this time.
We don’t use it every day, but who knows, maybe at some point.....
Best regards.

Hello glg29
I found the solution. I clicked that I forgot my password. This allowed me to reset it, which I did while keeping the same one - but for the hyphen, I actually typed the one under the 6. It worked, and I see that visually, it still appears below.
It's perfect if it works.
Lol, according to your quote, will I please you by leaving?
Take care.
