Hello, ...
After running a partial Avast analysis of my Wi-Fi network, I found several unknown devices on my network.
At home, I have a Dell Inspiron PC, an SFR box, a Samsung Galaxy A3 phone, a Philips TV, an Xbox 360, and a PlayStation 1 (all wired except for my phone, and the Wi-Fi is disabled on my phone during the analysis).
Avast detects: my PC OK, a Broadcom router? and 4 other devices: 1 Sagem, 1 MCenter, 1 Ingenico International, and 1 unknown device.
I searched online to find out what a Broadcom router is, and it doesn't look like my box; the MCenter is also unfamiliar, while the Sagem might be a phone, but what surprised me the most is that an Ingenico International is related to card payment terminals.
I'm really worried and want to get rid of them. What can I do since I'm not an expert? Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Broadcom doesn't mean much, they make components for just about everything.
You'd better forget that crap from Avast and test with this
Do you have powerline modems?
--
and ... There you go! -
Good evening to both of you!
box
TV box (if any)
TV (if smart)
PC
mobile phone
Xbox 360
PS
(or other, like tablet...)
That would make 7.
The software, I just tested.
If you disconnect a device,
you restart a scan by clicking "start"
and answer "yes" to the message telling you "forget the previous search"
You will have one less line corresponding to the device that has just been disconnected.
(you must not have said yes to the message if still 7 every time, even with one device less)
Find the line corresponding to the device
Double click on it
At the bottom of the window, you can make a note, write down the name of the device, so you will know for next time.
------------------------------------------
Either you start from scratch,
keep only the connected PC,
then reconnect your devices one by one, noting each time in the software
(re-scan each new device)
Or you write down all the lines on paper,
then unplug the devices one by one,
note on your paper who is who,
and once everything is reconnected, write on the lines of the software.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As for the "blue", it's like this:
(I don't know if you found it)

Hello, thank you for helping me, ...
I unplugged everything except my box and my PC ...
Angry IP says 0 active???
advanced IP shows 7 active as usual and 1 inactive Microsoft one too???
I tested the ipconfig command in the MSDOS command prompt: 3 media disconnected and one ethernet card on the default gateway 192.168.0.1 -

I don't have a "PLC" socket; I'm on fiber mode. 254 IP addresses seem like a lot to me.

- You have this one too
less fast, but provides the MAC addresses

By relaunching Angry IP, I got 6 blue dots again this morning.

Only my box is supposed to work on Wi-Fi, the rest is wired, except for my phone which I turned off the Wi-Fi before launching Angry IP.

I’m talking about an HDMI power strip to connect my PC and my box to my TV. I’ve counted the electrical devices and as I told you, I have a PC, a box, an Xbox, a PS1, a landline phone, a mobile phone, my TV, and an HDMI power strip.
Angry IP tells me that I still have 7 active devices.
Is that too much?

Hello, ... a friend guided me via messenger to reset the factory settings of my box and apparently there’s nothing unusual on my network anymore. The 3 Ingenico international devices are my box, my Xbox, and my TV, the other 3 Sagemcom devices are my mobile phone, my landline (Gigaset), and the HDMI switch (Cablehome), and finally my PC (Dell Inc).
That makes 7 active devices...
I stressed out for nothing... a thousand thanks to you...-
Wait,
So you're saying that after the reset, you have the same thing as before....
An HDMI switch isn't connected to the network, it doesn't have an IP address unless it's a very advanced one that can be controlled remotely.
Same for the landline phone, I assume it's not an IP phone, it shouldn't appear on the network.
As for Ingenico, I have no idea, but the Sagemcoms are more your boxes.
I doubt that the Xbox is Ingenico.

Hello, ...uh I only have a box and my HDMI switch has a remote control.
After resetting my box following your post, I scanned with Advanced IP and turned on all my equipment... is it normal for my box to be at 192.168.0.2?
My mobile phone shows up fine, my Dell PC is okay, my TV is a Philips smart TV; is it normal for it to be recognized as Ingenico??? I understood that a box could have an Ingenico since you can pay for different options... like with my smart TV or my Xbox (Microsoft), hence multiple IP addresses???
My fixed phone is a Gigaset C570H
I read this: https://lafibre.info/sfr-incidents-cable/scan-reseau-interne/?fbclid=IwAR2l01P7zT74fu4VxUN3PKj_5F8xljfNfKLTDCdKLf50Mynh2DKJ-QJKf6s
the scan:

The link on fiber is, as usual, very technical but hardly provides any explanations other than the fact that there would be subsystems in these boxes; one wonders why so many IP addresses if not to do much.
I hadn't suggested nmap to you; it's not really a tool for beginners. Anyway, visibly, it doesn't yield anything really useful in terms of scans in this case.
I don't think the Philips smart TV would be recognized with an Ingenico MAC address, Philips has tons of OUI available for their hardware, 42 in the list.
By the way, here’s a lead:
In this list, we discover that the OUI 00:03:81 (the OUI is the first three octets of the MAC address, it means Organization Unique Identifier, I believe) corresponds to an obscure Ingenico International which is not the Ingenico of payment terminals, all based in France; the international one seems to be Australian (au).
Search for Ingenico in the list using ctrl+f.
This doesn't prove much, but I think it has nothing to do with the payment terminals.
What remains to be determined is what it's doing in these boxes and especially why it appears on the network.
But well,
once again, if the TV is off, it shouldn't respond on a new scan.
