Screen issue "No cable connected" BENQ XL2411

Hello,

I have an issue with my BENQ XL2411 monitor. When I turn on my computer, I get the message "No cable connected" on the screen. I checked and it starts up fine with DisplayPort, connected the cable to another DP port but nothing.
I have a second monitor (DELL) which uses a DVI/DP adapter and it starts normally regardless of the port.

Strangely:
When I connect both screens, the BENQ always shows the same message but the DELL screen flickers (mouse stutters, screen goes off then on) only when the BENQ is powered on; once it's off (but still plugged in), it returns to normal.

Update: I connected the BENQ monitor via HDMI, no display issues. I found another DisplayPort cable, connected it, and again got the same "No cable detected" message... could it be an issue with the DisplayPort on the monitor?

If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated :)

Best regards.

Solution

- unplug the screen from the power source
- switch to a different DP (DisplayPort) on the graphics card
- reconnect the screen

Enjoy!

Hello everyone, I found the solution!!

All you have to do is connect via HDMI to the INPUT, that's it!
