Hello,
I own a Philips Smart TV model 43PUH6101/88 and I would like to know if it is possible to download the Amazon Prime Video app on it. Indeed, I have an app gallery but apparently nothing allows me to download new ones...

    Well yes, and the apps I have are useless; the connected aspect is only good for updates

    Hello and welcome to this forum,

    When it comes to applications, manufacturers and broadcasters do as they please. Personally, I have a LG, at first I had an Orange app that gave access to a lot of radio stations, app removed without warning during an update. For catch-up, I had Pluzz (public service catch-up) and Arte +7, both disappeared as well. As for MyTF1, I only have the paid VOD. On the M6 replay site, I'm asked to download a "player," but "download impossible." It's all a matter of agreements with the app owners and the TV brand, a question of money, so not that smart these TVs, huh? ...;-(
    And Arte came back some time ago... go figure...

      Absolutely! Personally, I was tempted by the connected aspect thinking I could manage almost everything from my screen, but well...
