Logitech options is not running

Hello,
After resetting Windows 10, I tried to install the latest version and previous versions of "Logitech Options." Each time the download completes successfully but does not run; when I launch it, the setup window opens, I click yes, the blue hourglass appears, and then nothing.
Logitech Options does not appear in the recently added apps.
I tried launching the app while disabling the antivirus Bitdefender, but the result is the same.
Do I need to reinstall Windows 10?
Thank you for your responses.
Take care
Best regards
LDP

Hello,
Uninstall the last Windows update 1909 and stay on version 1903

Hello Quentin,
It's impossible to go back to 1903, reverting is not visible in the recovery window, I'm thinking about creating a bootable USB key with the 1903 iso...
Thank you
Have a nice day

go to update and security in settings, update completed, then cancel 1909.

Hello Quentin,
I have once again reset Windows 10, recovery without data loss, antivirus uninstalled, the final update is version 1903, upon launching Windows 10, the Logitech app launched by itself? I was using a Logitech MX Anywhere mouse.
Thanks for the advice, it works perfectly...
I’m going to upgrade to version 1909 and see if Logitech Options works...
Have a good weekend

If I were you, I would stick with version 1903; the newer one often causes problems!

Re Quentin,
In version 1909, Logitech Options works... it was functioning on another PC already on 1909.
But the first reset did not go well.
Maybe this is the cause of the application's malfunction?
Thank you for your assistance.
Good evening
Best regards

Hello,

After struggling for ages with the same issue, I eventually contacted customer service, who responded with the following:

- Wait a moment until the scanning is completed
- Ensure there is NO checkmark in downloads

• You need to enable hidden files and folders by doing the following:
- Open File Explorer
- Select the View tab
- Click on the Options icon to open the Folder Options window
- Select the View tab, and in the Advanced settings list, look for and select “Show hidden files, folders, and drives”
- Click on the OK button

• Deleting remaining files, if applicable

- This should open File Explorer

- Copy and paste this path C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\unifhid.inf_amd64_3994342584154151\x64
- Click OK
- Delete two files
> LdaCx2.dll
> LogiLDA.DLL
- Now close File Explorer
- Open the Run window (Windows + R)
- Copy and paste this path C:\Windows\System32\
- Click OK
- Delete the file
> LogiLDA.DLL
- Now close File Explorer

• Deleting remaining Windows registry entries, if applicable
- Open the Run window (Windows + R)
- Type regedit.exe and click OK
- This should open Registry Explorer
- Navigate to the folder Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
- Delete the LogiOptions folder
- Close the registry explorer

• Restart your computer
