Gigaset A 265 announcement recording issue

Hello,
the instructions are brief and there's no FAQ
Several attempts on "save ad" then OK and there's an error message "too short" even though that's not the case.
Thank you for your help, I need it as soon as possible for telecommuting

Configuration: Macintosh / Firefox 74.0

    Hello,
    The message "Too short" indicates, in my opinion, that you left a silence too long at the beginning of the message.
    If you stop speaking for more than 2 seconds, the recording will stop automatically.

    To directly access the announcement recording
    press the following keys:
    Menu 4 4 1 (see pages 12 and 13)
    You will hear a tone (short beep). Record the announcement (min 3 seconds). Press OK to confirm, or "hang up" to cancel the recording.
    The announcement will be replayed after recording for you to check it.
    Note: The recording will automatically end after 170 seconds (maximum recording duration) or if you stop speaking for more than 2 seconds     (see page 6)

    Listen to the announcement again Menu 4 4 2
    Delete the announcement Menu 4 4 3

      Thank you Baladur, but I have already done all of this, several times, in vain; that's why I posted this message because there is clearly something that escapes me. I took out this phone to work remotely, and I plugged it into my box, it's a number starting with 09 but I don't see the connection. It emits a default announcement and records, so it is functioning.

      I have no doubt that you have already done or rather attempted to do... x times
      I just think that you are waiting too long between the moment the recording begins and when you start your announcement, and this leads to a message shorter than 3 seconds, which is too short..
      Two seconds of silence is quickly reached.

    Is the handset properly associated with its base?
    If you press the "Paging" button on the base (the button at the bottom right on the base), does the handset ring?
    The base is connected with a cable to the box... and not wirelessly (DECT)
    and it is indeed an A265 (with built-in answering machine - several buttons on the base)

    It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it's not there...
