Hello everyone,
I just got a Xiaomi Note 10 and want to transfer the SMS from my iPhone 6s to this new phone.
I followed the methods I found online, which are all pretty much the same: back up my iPhone to my PC, extract a certain file for the SMS, and transfer it to my new phone via an app called isms2droid.
However, I always get the same error message when I click to import the messages:
Database error
Your database file could not be opened because it is either not the right file or you have enabled encryption for your iPhone backup.
I've tried everything; regarding data encryption, I made a backup without encrypting the data, etc.
And I still get the same message.
Please help me if you can. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello,
To import your SMS on your Xiaomi, use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore&hl=fr

Hello,
thank you for your response.
I have never had an Android phone before, so I don't know how it works at all.
I downloaded the app you're talking about, but then it says it can't find a file to restore my texts on my phone...-
You back up your SMS on your iPhone, then convert them to Android format with isms2droid, and you obtain a backup file for SMS on Android. You just need to restore it using SMSBackupRestore; see this page.

yes, that’s exactly what I did but actually, I get an error message as soon as I use the isms2droid application:
Database error
Your database file could not be opened because it is either not the right file or you have enabled encryption for your iPhone backup. -
thank you very much for the translation
I also translated it and then made a backup without encrypting the data and double-checked that it was the correct file, the one mentioned in the tutorials (3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28)
but I still get the same error message... :'( -
Does anyone have an idea, a piece of advice?
I'm still at the same point :( -
Hello, did you finally manage to do the trick? I've been struggling for days too... thanks!!
