Hello,
I read in this forum (very interesting) that you can find cleaning cartridges for print heads. I'm looking for one for my Brother MFC-J6510 DW, but I can't find anything. If anyone has a specific lead, I would appreciate it, thank you.

Hello.
I don't have the same printer (I have a Canon), but the print head cleaning is done in the printer settings. If I go to the Windows settings and right-click on the printer, a window opens where there is a Tools tab. It is from this tab that I can access the alignment of the print heads in case of cartridge change, as well as the command that allows for cleaning the heads. I can't guide you further since I don't have the same printer, so the commands may not be in the same places. Look around a bit and you should find it.-
Hello
Thank you for your response. The problem is as follows: I have cleaned the print heads using the printer itself, but the black is non-existent. So I read on the forum that there are corresponding cartridges available that can help clean them. I've been searching, but I can't find anything at all!!! I'm considering turning to a kit that includes a syringe, tube, and cleaner.

The cleaner provided with this kit is mainly used to clean the equipment so that colors do not mix when changing them. If you disassemble the cartridge and turn it upside down, you can clean the print heads with a soft lint-free cloth. This should be done with the cartridges turned upside down to avoid emptying the ink with each wipe of the cloth. There is another less accessible area to clean: when you finish printing, the cartridges will rest in the printer on a pad to keep the heads from drying out. This pad gradually absorbs ink and can eventually lead to smudges on the pages during printing. If you can access it, try to clean it. A long, thin brush slightly damp should do the trick. Absolutely no drops of water in the printer! And do this while unplugged after removing the cartridges.
