Google Chrome favorites no more icons

Hello everyone,

First of all, my best wishes to all of you for this new year 2020,

I need your help with a problem that has been bothering me for several months now. I use Google Chrome as my browser and I have a favorites bar with only symbols for the sites I use very often.
For several months, the icons have not been displaying anymore; I only see the small globes (see photo).



I tried deleting the famous Favicons file, but nothing helps; the problem returns after just a few days of use.

Do you have any ideas to help me?

    Hello.

    Try this procedure ==> Click on "This PC" then on "Local Disk C:

    C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

    Rename the folder "Favicon - journal" to something like "Favicon - journal 1"

    This is just a suggestion . . . See you later . . .

      Unfortunately, the technique only worked for a few days; since then, my icons have reverted to small globes...

      Any other ideas?
